How did we get where we are today?

Having worked in the industry since the 1980's we've seen many of the smaller companies overrun by the big marketing companies. We believe that people should have a choice; that homes and businesses are as varied as the people that work & live in them, and that their need for protection was just as diverse. There was no way that the "package alarm" companies were going to meet that need. Their customers were just a number, just a monitored account. What we decided to do was meet that need by offering custom designed systems at very competitive prices. We do not make price the only issue a client may use to evaluate the systems we design & install. Price is always on the list of considerations but quality, thoroughness, consistency, reliability, and company trustworthiness often are of greater importance to our ideal clients.

What makes us different than the other guys?

You know how the big marketing companies present their systems as the out of the box solution, fitting or rather 'stretching' their little packages to protect your individual spaces whether they really do or not? What we do is have real people answering our phones 24 hours a day, not voice mail or a foreign tech center. We meet with every client to review their site, their concerns, and their special needs. We offer true custom systems built specifically to meet the demands of each client as an individual. Our sales process is intended to find out exactly what each customer wants, what's really important to them, and then make recommendations to meet or exceed every expectation. Whether it's a basic system for the empty little house, a fire alarm system for a school, or a complex surveillance system for a commercial site, every job is the most important one, and should be done perfectly. And that's what we do different than "the other guys".

What do you like most about your community?

Our "community" actually includes many communities. The Upstate New York area is rich in culture and natural beauty while being just a short ride from New York City. The single attribute that makes our communities stand out is probably its vibrant variety - of the people, the environment, and the many opportunities for business and growth.
