Alarm/Security System Installer

Looking for a highly self-motivated individual with a record of success in installing fire, security, audio/visual, and intercom systems from raw construction.
Candidate needs to have 1 year of electrical experience. Looking for someone who knows the finer points of electronics, circuitry, voltage, programming and how to balance a system.
For consideration candidate must have a clean driving record, clean background and drug test is required.

Duties:

• Prepares for installations by reviewing orders; gathering equipment, supplies, and tools.
• Plans for installations by evaluate location; identifying installation requirements; laying-out equipment and wiring plan.
• Establishes system by installing equipment; running and pulling wiring; programming and calibrating equipment.
• Verifies system is functioning by testing equipment, connections, and signals, identifying and correcting problems.
• Maintains safe and secure work environment by following safe practices.

Scott Alarm Systems installs residential & commercial security systems so prior experience in this industry is a plus. But not necessary for consideration the candidate would need to possess the following:

• 1 year experience in Outside Sales (this position is for residential sales only)
• Familiar with computers
• Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of others
• Willing to travel 95% of time within a 90 mile radius of Catskill Area
• Relationship building skills
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule with little notice
• Have reliable transportation, cell phone, and a fax machine

A clean background and driving record are also required.
